Together we share our passion about nurturing and supporting our painters in their pursuit of recognition and success within the dynamic vivant art scene London has to offer. We acknowledge and understand the early stages of an artists career and its challenges. Therefore, we aim to offer a solid foundation and guidance that our painters can lay back on. 

What we offer

Bureau Gesso serves as a bridge between emerging painters and established professionals within the London Art sphere. Our main belief considers the power of guidance, mentorship and support, which is why we connect painters with experienced individuals who have already made their mark within the London art sphere. Our mentors include small gallery owners, curators, art critics who have established themselves within the art industry in London. 

  • By offering one to one meetings and support sessions with an established professional is a way we offer support for our artists. These session can include studio visits, portfolio reviews, advice and tailored support for the artists needs and their aspirations. Whether by discussing career goals, artworks, or specific area of improvement, the mentors offer their expertise and knowledge to help navigate the artist in the complex art world.

  • We understand that the economic situation of emerging artists can be challenging, which is why we offer to find a solution. There are plenty of funds and financial support to apply for work in the creative field. We offer our feedback and concealing advice for our artists to find economic support. By guidance and finding relevant funds for our painters to apply for, we try to find economic support.

  • At Bureau Gesso we aim to create a strong community where all participants can collaborate and share ideas. Our agency acts as a community where we actively connect our painters with other painters to grow a community. We connect our painters will professionals such as small gallery owners, art communicators, curators, and other relevant art institutions who are searching for fresh talents and exciting and new collaborations. Our aim for our community is for our painters to gain networking opportunities and success in the London art world.

  • To offer an opportunity for exposure, we organise and set up a showcase exhibition each year dedicated to our painters. Each exhibition is curated at different times each year and explores different areas of topics. We invite curators to take the opportunity to curate exhibitions for our painters. The only red thread of each exhibition is the focus on exposure for our painters. The aim of the exhibitions is to nurture and grow our emerging painters.
